Explanation of my Certifications:

About Me

Hi guys! My name is Christine Bieber and I am a NASM certified personal trainer.  I graduated in 2015 from Temple University with a B.S. in Kinesiology (Exercise Science).  My passion for living a healthy lifestyle developed after surviving thyroid cancer my freshman year of high school.  I am now 16 years cancer free and a Cancer Exercise Specialist striving to help others feel confident in their own skin. I am also a Weight Loss Specialist, Pilates Reformer Certified, and a Corrective Exercise Specialist.  My moto is "something is better than nothing".  Just get up and move! I promise you will feel better!

Fitness Trainer- I am a personal trainer who works one on one with clients, offers partner training, creates individualized programs, and teaches small group classes to women of all ages. My goal is to help women achieve their health and fitness goals.

B.S. in Kinesiology- I have a 4 year bachelor's undergraduate degree which focuses on the science of human movement, physical activity, and their impact on overall health and well-being. Kinesiology encompasses a variety of fields such as Anatomy and Physiology of Movement, Biomechanics, designing exercise programs, and rehabilitation techniques to restore function and movement after injuries or illnesses.

Exercise Physiologist- is a healthcare professional who specializes in the study and application of exercise to improve health and well-being. It involves assessing and evaluating patient's cardiovascular, muscular strength, and flexibility along with educating individuals about their health, monitoring their progress, and helping them manage chronic conditions.

NASM Certified- (National Academy of Sports Medicine Certified). It is a professional credential that signifies that an individual demonstrates knowledge and competency in evidence-based science and personal training.

​

Corrective Exercise Specialist-is a certified fitness professional who specializes in identifying and correcting movement dysfunctions and imbalances.  This specialization encompasses improving posture and alignment for clients, enhancing movement efficiency, helping people prevent injuries, and helping individuals with chronic conditions, injuries, and other movement limitations to regain their physical abilities.

Cancer Exercise Specialist- is a health and fitness professional who designs and implements individualized, safe, and effective exercise programs for people with cancer, during and after treatment.

​

Pilates Reformer 1 Certified Instructor- the completion of the first level of reformer training, which includes being able to lead basic to intermediate level classes safely and effectively offering modifications based on each individual's needs.

​

Weight Loss Specialist- is a professional who helps individuals achieve and maintain a healthy weight through personalized plans and support.

​

Zumba Instructor- is a certified professional who teaches choreographed dance fitness classes that combine aerobic exercise with dance moves Latin and world rhythms. They lead classes and guide participants through fun, high energy dance moves.
